Carefully restored with respect for the original: Kapetanova Kuća has stood at the edge of Rogač bay for generations. Today it blends historic stonework with quiet, modern elegance — and opens onto views across the Split Channel toward the Čiovo peninsula.

Three bedrooms in the main house, two in the annex with walk-in wardrobes. Every room has its own bathroom and individually controlled air-conditioning.

Five en-suite bathrooms, modern, naturally lit, in warm Mediterranean tones.
Pool, whirlpool & sauna
10 × 5 m pool with sun loungers, a separate whirlpool and a Finnish sauna in the wellness area. Maintenance and cleaning are included.
Garden & jetty
2,500 m² of garden with old trees, a covered dining terrace and a jetty from which you can jump straight into the sea — or dock a boat.

Where the villa is, what makes the island special and how to reach us.
Insel
The island of Šolta
Šolta is one of the lesser-known islands of central Dalmatia — and that is exactly its charm. While Hvar and Brač fill up in summer, Šolta stays relaxed: small stone mills, olive groves, honey, wine from the Dobričić grape and a handful of excellent konobas.
From the ferry port of Rogač in the north to Maslinica at the western tip with its offshore islets is a 30-minute drive — the entire island is easy to explore in a single day.

The villa sits at the end of a quiet dead-end lane to the water, a few minutes on foot from the harbour. The main village of Grohote — with bakery, supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants — is 2 km away, easily reached on foot or with the in-house e-bikes.
Anreise
Getting here
By ferry
Jadrolinija runs the Split — Rogač ferry several times a day (about 1 hour). From the dock it's a 15-minute walk to the villa.
By car
You can take a car on the ferry — book ahead in high season. Parking in front of the property.
Water taxi
On request we can arrange a private water taxi from Split airport (about 30 minutes) — faster and more comfortable than the ferry.
